She's one month old!

This month has flown by and she is getting so big and has so much personality. I have loved staying home with her and dread going back but I am so conforted that she will be staying with my mom and not some strangers. She (and I) are still doing great with the breastfeeding and she is growing so much. I weighed her on our scale at home and she weighed 9.5 pounds. During the past two weeks she lost her umbilical cord stump and got HORRIBLE baby acne. I felt so bad. She literally had 50+ zits on her forehead at one point in time. Luckily her face has mainly cleared up. She still has one or two, but nothing like before. I finally was able to get a sling (third times a charm!) and she loves being in it. If she is fussy and I put her in it, she calms down and usually goes to sleep. It is nice to have my hands free and I have practically eaten all my meals the past week with her in the sling. My only complaint with the hostsling is that I don't feel safe bending over without one hand on her and I think I am going to get a Moby too.

The weekend of Mother's day we went to Orlando and to Ponca and she was a trooper! She slept the entire time at Orlando, except to eat which stinks b/c Mike's side of the family really hasn't seen her awake! Once we got to Ponca she was awake and full of her silly self. We leave for Florida this Saturday and although I am super excited, it is the end of my time being able to stay home with her. Here are pictures since the last post. I need to get pictures from Mother's day weekend and when I do I will post them.

She is really growing, and she is so precious! I love the picture of Mike holding her while she is sleeping, and she has one arm up behind her head - so adorable!
