20 months old!

Twenty months sounds so old too me. I cannot believe that she will be two so soon. How is that possible?!? She is such a sweet girl. Her vocabulary has exploded and she is speaking in sentences regularly. She understands and answers appropriately most questions. She has learned the art of climbing (not really a good thing!) and her favorite no-no spots are the swivel chair at the computer and the elliptical machine. I think she misses being able to go outside and play. She loves to go to barnes and noble because they have a large thomas the train table. We literally go about every other day because it is so close. She likes seeing the kids (most of the time). Lately she has been saying "I'm sorry". I will ask her why she is sorry and she says "Carrie Kate sorry". I think she says it when she is uncomfortable because when kiddos get too close to her she will say it. She is definitely obsessed with minnie mouse. She takes her minnie everywhere and if you look in most of the pictures this month you can find her, if you don't see her it is because she is in her other hand behind my back...she seriously loves that thing! She also loves putting on other people shoes, especially boots.

We literally dance about an hour a night. She always has a partner (usually minnie), but sometimes other friends get a turn.

Thanksgiving-unfortunately I had to work in the ICU on thanksgiving, but Mike and Caroline went to Orlando.

Apparently Bailey was a big hit with the girls!

Mike said a couple times she kind of wandered off to be alone, like she was a little overwhelmed with everything.

Jenne and Bryan watched Caroline while we went to Mike's work Christmas party and Jenne took these pics. Notice Minnie's bow at the bottom of the first pic!

All the cousins.
My one day off in 7 fell on the Unruh thanksgiving day so we were able to go to that.
Four generations of Unruh women!
Sweet girl!
She is holding her ornament that she picked for this year. Shocking, it is a minnie and mickey ice skating. However, she would not let it go on the tree. She wanted to hold it. Of course it was dropped (or tossed) numerous times and part-by-part it fell apart. It was not put together to sustain any play time. None of it broke; it just came apart. All the pieces are now in a baggie waiting for this year to be over so they can be glued back together. It was just a little weird her holding mickey and minnie's armless, legless bodies! She has done well leaving the tree and presents alone though.

Enjoying a Poppie visit!

She loves playing in my mirror. Her shirt says ho ho ho. She keeps saying hohoho Merry Christmas! So cute!

We went to the Christmas Train which is a large area outside of Pryor that has steam trains showing the life of Jesus, multiple fun things to do and a lot of shops. We could only get tickets for 7pm start time so she was pretty tired going into it. It was also 35 degrees out, but she was a great sport. I got her the hat for Christmas so she got to open a present early! I was really surprised she left on the hat and gloves. She is very into trains because of the thomas trains, so she thought the big train was really cool! She loved seeing all the lights too.

Waiting in line for the train. It was sooooo long when we got there and we thought that it was going to take forever, but it actually went pretty fast.
We rode the carousel afterwards. She loves riding carousels but she was pretty cold and sleepy at this point. She also couldn't hold on very good with the mittens. She liked it though.
In front of the train
One of the little "streets". The area is owned by a church and the whole thing has a christian theme. Apparently during the warmer months the area is used as a rentable church retreat.

I am currently on my clinic month and the hours are wonderful. Basically 8-5. I feel like I am on vacation. I went from working 78.5/week to 40ish with weekends off! During the holiday season we have chaos, which means that you get 6 days off either at Christmas or new years. I get the 21-27 off! So so so excited. I have to work on hospital wards from 28-jan 9 covering for someone who is off. I then take my step 3 boards (which is my final general board exam I will ever have to take). I am technically on OB/Gyn during jan, but I think I will actually only work about 10 days. We head to Hawaii on Jan 17-can't wait!
