Caroline 15 months!

Sweet Caroline is 15 months today! She is such a little lady. She uses her signs to tell us what she wants-she has learned thank you, cheese and water this month. She knows the animal noises. Anytime a dog, bird or cat goes by she makes their sound. I have an iPhone app that she plays that she opens a barn door and it shows an animal, makes its noise and says its name. She makes most of the noises and says some of the names. She can identify body parts when you ask her. She can show you her belly, hands, feet, mouth, hair, eyes, ears and nose. She is so active and loves playing outside, even when it is so hot! She has gotten to do fun stuff this month, but unfortunately we didn't take pictures at a lot of it. She got to go the bouncy barn which is a warehouse full of bouncy toys. She rode the carousel at the mall three times. She and I went to Nickelodeon story time which was a sing along concert, courtesy of my friend Kelly. She gives great hugs and blows kisses.

Goofing off!

Eating a bagel and showing off her long hair

Eating watermelon!
My little doll fell asleep on the way to the concert! Who makes kid's concerts at 7:00 p.m.?
Such a silly girl!
She got to go to the splash pad with Mia and Pops.

Fourth of July I was post call which means I got off at noonish. We went to the park and it was so busy! I was so stressed out because there were all these tiny kids not being supervised at all!

Sweet face!

The infamous Big Ball!

I tried to get a good picture of her at the concert, but it was so hard in stadium seating and not being able to let her get more than arms length away! She had a blast. We made it about 3/4 of the way through.

This is my intern class.
I started residency on July 1, well I started orientation on June 21st, but I had actual responsibilities on July 1. It has gone really well. I really love what I am doing! Our call schedule is great and I take overnight call every eighth night while on wards. The way it works I usually get to come home for a few hours before going back and working all night, so I don't have to go so long without seeing miss C. I love having responsibility and I love working with patients, even the crazy ones! I have clinic about once a week and other than that I am at the hospital. I get one day off a week, so it feels like I am there everyday, but I only worked 58 hours this week, so really I am getting a lot of time at home. It helps that I knew the system and the hospital so well. I have talked to some of my classmates and there are a lot worse situations, so I cannot complain! I am very happy where I am and what I am doing, even if I would always rather be home with Caroline!

Hi! Wanted to comment even though it's been a while since you posted this entry. Caroline is so sweet! We LOVED getting to meet her at Ma and Pa's house. Kiran really had fun playing with her. I thought it was adorable that she wears her beaded necklace all the time. I thought she just borrowed it from your mom, at first. So cute! She has such a sweet smile, and she is so smart. She seemed to be curious about everything! I am so thankful your mom was able to bring her by. I just wish we could have seen you and Mike, too! Maybe next time! Love you guys!
