Frozen Bear Lake
For anyone that has been here before, this is the trail around bear lake. The other times I have been here it has been wheelchair accessable. There were places you couldn't even see the trail. I could not believe how much snow was there and that it melts so quickly.
Hike to Alberto Falls-about 3.4 miles round trip, not near as much snow as later though!
Alberto Falls
Snacking after the hike
Elk outside our cabin
Unfortunately Mike got sick while we were there and spent an entire day in bed. That day we went to the little amusement park.
Giant Slide. Caroline going down with Bryan. She was not a fan. Neither was I! Bryan took Daegan and I took Maison and the boys loved it, but I hated it!
Bumper cars-Bryan and Maison vs Jenne and Daegan. Daegan loved it, but Maison wasn't so sure.
Go-Karts
Bumper boats-Bryan and Maison and Daegan and Jenne. WE had to wait for a huge group of teenagers to move on because there were squirters on the front and they were rowdy!
Mini golf was hilarious! Daegan did well, Maison kept throwing his ball into the water/bushes and Caroline would not let go of her ball so she just ran the 18 holes!
Inside the jumper
Couldn't hit the Rocky Mountain National Park trails without a bootie tree pic!
All the lakes were still very frozen
Nymph Lake
Beautiful View! Pictures never do justice!
Hiking from Bear Lake to Emerald Lake. There was so much snow that sometimes you could not tell which way the trail went. There were two or three times that we really considered turning around and not going on. Mike was such a stud carrying Caroline. I on the other hand had so much fun, but am clumsy! Mike told me I looked like a giraffe on ice and fell a few times getting my bootie very wet from the snow, elbow banged up and hands muddy. I however did NOT drop my awesome new camera (grad present from Mike).
